Scheri Young
Having been a Dental Hygienist for the past 16 yrs, Scheri is confident you will not only have a pleasant and stress free experience while with her in our office but will be cared for with the same compassion and conviction as if she were treating a member of her own family.
"Patient comfort and well-being are what motivates me the most," she says
Scheri grew up in Waterford, PA where she graduated from Fort Le Boeuf high School. Having done a report on teeth in high school Scheri had an immediate affinity for all things dental. After high school she entered and completed Dental Assisting School. She then moved to Florida, completed additional training at the University of Florida and become an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant working in the Palm Coast and Ormond Beach area for nine years.
As her passion to care for people grew she knew it was time to take the next step in her career and so applied to Dental Hygiene School. Having been accepted into several programs she settled on Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville and graduated in 1995 with honors. Scheri went on to complete an AA degree in math and science from Daytona State College, graduating with honors in 2005. She hopes to complete her Bachelors degree in Biology soon.
Scheri enjoys spending time with her family. Loves the outdoors and spending a lot of time spoiling her dogs, Spike (Chihuahua) and Zues (Min Pin) and acquiesces to the desires of her cat Isabella.
She is a bit of a dare devil as she has raced her own race car at Daytona and flown aerobatics courtesy of her boyfriend who is an aerobatic pilot. She likes spending time with him too!

She knows the ins and outs of dentistry and can help you with insurance or financial questions in addition to assisting Dr Alexander.
"I love being able to comfort patients when they are fearful, that is the very best part of my career".
In her free time, Christine enjoys spending time at the beach, as well as quality time with her two young sons.
